I rec’d this joke as an email from a friend … and although it’s not very PC, I just has to laugh. The joke itself is not nearly as funny as the image!

Mujibar was trying to get a job in India. The Personnel Manager said, “Mujibar, you have passed all the tests, except one. Unless you pass it, you cannot qualify for this job.”

Mujibar said, “I am ready.”

The manager said, “Make a sentence using the words Yellow, Pink and Green.”

Mujibar thought for a few minutes and said, “Mister manager, I am ready.”

The manager said, “Go ahead.”

Mujibar said, “The telephone goes green, green, and I pink it up, and say, ‘Yellow, this is Mujibar.’”

Mujibar now works at a call center.

No doubt you have spoken to him. I know I have.

Friday Pick Ups & Monday Motivations
Posted on April 21st, 2008 @ 10:03 am

Just reading Judi’s blog about Monday motivation and decided to post a comment to her blog … and do a bit of writing on my own.

All in all, I love Mondays. They are a clean slate, open for new things, new adventures. For those poor spirits who commute to a boring job, that they don’t like, or don’t like commuting to … Mondays are not so glorious.

To make the most of my Mondays, I “close shop” at 4:00 on Friday and spend the next hour or so picking up.

  • I clean up my desk
  • Empty the recycling bin & trash can
  • Vacuum my office
  • Make my to do list for next week
  • Update my project calendar and post it on my site for my clients to see.
  • If there is some free time, I try to send a quick “Checking in” email to those clients that I haven’t heard from in a while, or add that to my to do list.
  • Since I try not to work on the weekends, I have my McAfee virus scan on Fridays at 6:00p and if I do poke my head into my office over the weekend, the scan is done by Saturday morning :-)

On Monday morning, when I walk into my office … everything is tidy, organized and I’m ready to go :-)

Ciao!!

Movie Review

Been a while since writing any reviews …

DVD:

  • Watched Eastern Promises with Naomi Watts and Viggio Mortensen. All I can say is WOW! The plot was good and gripping. It was raw, dramatic and very well done.
  • Suzuka: An anime series by FUNimagtion, I’ve watched the first 4 discs in the series. It’s OK …. and certainly better than watch any western cartoons that are currently out.
  • Live Free or Die Hard: Different than the past Die Hard movies, this was OK … a good “let’s watch a movie because it’s raining outside” movie.
  • Fantastic Children: Another anime series. It’s drawn very … simple, I guess would be close to a description. Great plot and can’t wait for the next disc to come :-)

In the Theatre:

  • Forbidden Kingdom: I love Jackie Chan and I love Jet Li. How could I not love this movie?!? All in all, Kung Fu movies are fun to watch and this didn’t disappoint :-)

Ciao!
